also ya know what makes me think, like, inkwell isle doesn’t seem like a big world, cuphead and mugman probably knew all of the bosses they fought, as maybe neighbours or something and suddenly they get the note with all the runaway debtors and uh oh “all of our neighbours are runaways from the devil that we must visit and force them to give their soul” 

like, the bosses must be “the two cute cups that always run around without a care in the world just came to take our souls and give them to the devil”

also yall know that run ‘n’ gun level with what seems like an ancient temple of some kingdom based on cups and plates, and there’s a bunch of statues and two of them look like elder kettle and legendary chalice i wanna know more about this ancient kingdom of cups and plates
