This is my friend Jade. She needs an operation to fix her heart. She has just had her eighteenth birthday and she’s been suffering for three years, having strokes, heart attacks and having to be resuscitated a few times. Her health has declined so quickly, especially in the past year. Her stomach has become paralysed which means she can’t eat or keep food down to stay (at least relatively) healthy for the op. The public (HSE) waiting list for this operation is simply too long and her near future is uncertain so we need to raise money fairly quickly so that she can have the operation privately hopefully before March. Please do what you can because I don’t want to watch my friend die.
