people cannot emotionally handle talking about every crisis ever. social media can just be talking about fun, dumb shit, and if that’s how you choose to use it you’re not a bad person who’s selfish or whatever.

absolutely, if you have money to spare donate to causes you believe in or share information about them, but if you want to keep your blog lighthearted, it’s not a bad thing. “this only has 300 notes, guess no one cares about x thing, you’re all monsters” is guilt-tripping, and you don’t have to listen to it.
