im playin breath of the wild and checking out the newer DLC and one of the pieces of DLC equipment i could look for was on Satori Mountain, which was presumably named after the Satoru Iwata. on the mountain, there’s a beautiful pond with a single cherry blossom tree. it’s genuinely one of the most peaceful places in the game
i was getting all emotional because, of course, i miss Iwata. we all do.
so i plucked the chest outta the ground (buried in front of the tree), and it came back down, rolled into me, and smacked me in the face, which kind of snapped me out of the legit-i-almost-started-crying state of mind i was in.
it reminded me that Iwata, while we should respect him and honor what he gave to us while he was alive, will always want us to have fun. that was his goal in life, and i took that chest smacking me in the face as Iwata telling me “c’mon, buddy, buck up. there’s a beautiful, expansive world waiting for you to explore. dont waste your time crying here!”
i miss Iwata, and i think the best way to honor his legacy is to be happy and have fun with what he left us.

Why are all the champions in botw popular except Daruk? Like you’ll see people who love Urbosa, Revalli and Mipha and there’s nothing wrong with that but what about Daruk? He is actually adorable, why would you not love him?
