“Weeeeell now! It looks like you loose,” sneered the
boogieman at his lowly subjects.
“P-please, Mr. Oogie,
be merciful-”
“AAAaahaHAHAaaa!”
The three of them – a brash werewolf pup, a baggy-pants
corpse, and fat, young vampire – were trembling before the knees of their
bloated Boogie-King.
They tried not to look at each other. The last thing they
needed was the disapproving glance of a ghoul more accepting of his grim fate,
to remind them how big a failure they were.
“Are you serious?” The king grabbed the vampire boy by his
collar and held him up for the town to see. Then he dropped him on the other
two accomplices of this crime. The Boogie-King could hear the vampire’s
brothers crying from the back of the crowd.
“How quaint! Care to join him boys? You know what they say: a
family who sleighs together stays together! AAAhahahaahAHHHAA!”
