I know I said no answering asks till the Holiday break, but… I got hit with sudden inspiration and had to draw it out >w>;
@bewitchedbunny Yes, the Devil is very aware of Dice’s personalities and has known for a long time. He also knows how to get the specific personalities he wants. He cheats, but it works.
On a side note, I’ve been tagging anything related to the 6 sides of King Dice as #king d6
Here’s to the anon who wanted transparent Mangosteens! (Sorry, lost the ask)
The temptation to post the first 4 as their own posts was too much. (Also I couldn’t find the pattern his attack is in the files, so his mouth is actually transparent there)
There are so many other messages I need to answer, but I was making something related to this question already so I thought I would get this out of the way first >u<;
Also, I like to think that Mr. Wheezy starts to heat up and burn when he gets worked up.
oh man anon you have no idea how much HCs I have for them all, but for starters, let me just begin with their jobs and a few pieces of random triva:
Mr. Wheezy – Manager of the Casino Cage. He handles all the transactions and accounting and paperwork together with the staff under him. He’s snarky, and as an outsider you’d assume he’s an asshole bc he looks like one, but he gets along pretty well with the rest of the staff. He’s especially good friends with Mangosteen
Chips Bettigan – Pit Boss. Everyone in King Dice’s crew are good at every type of game – tho Chips specializes in Texas Hold’ems and all the ‘carnival games’; Three Card Poker, Mississippi Stud, Caribbean Stud, Let it Ride, Flop Poker, you name it. He’s the youngest out of everyone in the crew, and he enjoys it when people mistakes him to be older than Pip
Pip and Dot – Pit Bosses. They specialize in Pai Gow tiles/poker/dominoes. Dot is the brash one out of the two and she loves to bait people into drinking contests with her. Her main victim is Wheezy. Pip is quieter but no less mischievous, and he’s one of the few who can hold Dot back.They’re both close childhood friends.
Phear Lap – Pit Boss and the server in the horse racing section of the casino. He’s generally stationed in the halls with TVs of live streams and betting screens.
Phear Lap has a VERY good memory, as he’s in charge of the racing tracks and all the bets. He gets so exasperated and amused when people mistakes him as an old man; he’s only in his late twenties, thank you very much
Mangosteen – Pit Boss. He specializes in Pool rather than the usual Casino Games. He also takes cares of the pool tables and is very strict in regards to their cleanliness or getting ashes in the felt. Wheezy’s coat was a gift from him since it was too small for him to wear.
Pirouletta – Pit Boss. Her specialization are wheel games like Roulette and Big Six together with card games like Poker, Blackjack and Baccarat. Nothing ever fazes her cool exterior. Chips and her get along great and he respects her a lot, while Pirouletta sighs when he gets into trouble with Pip and Dot again.
Mr. Chimes – Slots Supervisor. And of course, he’s great at slot and machine games. He usually doesn’t talk except repeating ‘I am Mr. Chimes’ with varying tones. Only Phear Lap and Hopus Pocus understands him as if he was using English. He knows all the shortcuts and secrets in the Casino that no one else knows
Hocus Pocus – Head Chef and Magician. He entertains diners in the restaurant area with a show of live cooking and magic tricks.
He has an incredibly short attention span but can hyperfocus on things and flawlessly complete tasks, which is why he was placed on kitchen duty. Probably owns like 666 doves
Rum – Bartender and the eldest of the Tipsy Troop, and none of them are related. A sweet old guy who’d show you little tricks and sleight of hands and listen to your problems. He taught both Martini and Whisky some bartending tricks over the years, and always buys them little gifts. He gets along great with Mr Chimes
Whisky – Bartender and the second eldest of the Tipsy Troop. A no-nonsense and stern type of guy, but kind. He keeps every single gift from Rum and Martini and own like 5 flannel shirts. Him and Martini go shopping from time to time to get Rum gifts
Martini – Bartender and youngest of the Tipsy Troop. Cool and collected, and while all three of them can spy a cheater from across the room, she has the sharpest eye. Her and Dot are gal pals
And for clarification on their jobs:
Casino Cage – where you exchange your money for casino chips and vice-versa.
Together with the Vault, it’s responsible for the custodianship of and accountability for the casino’s bankroll
Pit Boss – Also known as Pit Managers/Floor Managers. They look after the employees who work in a casino pit; floormens to dealers to croupiers. Usually it’s the floormens who report directly to them. It’s the job of a Pit Boss to sort issues such as cheating and other important things out. They aren’t the ones dealing you games, and they’re usually running around busy with other things, but all of KD’s executive staffs can take over any games or jobs at anytime tho
Slots Supervisor – equivalent to a Pit Boss but on the slots floor instead. All Slots attendants report directly to them
The Casino staff map isn’t 100% accurate in terms to real life, nor am I an expert on how Casinos work, but this is the system I worked out for my portrayal of the Casino after doing my research. So yeah, that’s all for now!!!
